About Brian Dickson

Leadership Guidance Grounded in Real Operational Experience

For nearly two decades, Brian Dickson worked on the operator side of the ground transportation industry, carrying the same responsibilities and pressures faced by owners and senior leadership teams every day.

Brian began his leadership career as Vice President & General Manager of Coach America’s Orlando operation, supporting high-visibility clients including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, the University of Central Florida, major cruise lines, international tour operators, and a wide range of charter customers. At its peak, the operation managed nearly 200 vehicles across multiple service types with a workforce of more than 300 employees.

Throughout his career, Brian held leadership roles including General Manager, Regional Vice President, and other senior executive positions with organizations such as Arena Americas, Alliance Bus Group, Walt Disney World, and All Aboard America. In these roles, he was responsible for many of the decisions that shape an operator’s reality, pricing and contract strategy, reorganizations and restructurings, labor and union dynamics, fleet and capital investment, service recovery, and addressing performance, safety, or cultural challenges when expectations were not met. These were not theoretical discussions, they were real-time decisions made with customers waiting, employees watching, and financial outcomes on the line.

Those experiences reinforced a fundamental truth, strong results do not come from isolated fixes. They come from clarity, discipline, aligned leadership, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure, consistently.

In 2024, after leading the turnaround of a startup transportation operation in Austin, Texas, Brian founded Dickson Leadership Strategies to support owners and executive teams facing many of the same complex decisions that defined his career in operations.

Today, Dickson Leadership Strategies works with transportation leaders seeking experienced, practical guidance, helping organizations navigate complexity, strengthen leadership alignment, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
